Previous Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is reportedly "ringing up pretty much every team owner" as he attempts a re-entry to Formula 1, per Aston Martin F1 top executive Andy Cowell.

Aston Martin is included in the teams that are connected to the ex-boss.

Cowell revealed he had confirmed the circumstances with team owner Lawrence Stroll recently at the Singapore GP.

"It appears that Christian is getting in touch with most team bosses at the moment," said the executive.

"I can unequivocally confirm there are no arrangements for the engagement of Christian in an management or financial position in the future."

Further Organizations Respond

Haas boss Ayao Komatsu stated that the former Red Bull leader had "contacted" the Stateside organization but added: "Nothing has gone any further. It's over."

The Renault-owned team executive director Steve Nielsen mentioned the squad's senior consultant and unofficial chief Flavio Briatore was "long-standing acquaintances" with the ex-boss.

The team official added: "I don't know what they talk about. All I can confirm is there are no plans for Christian to come to Alpine but that doesn't mean it won't happen."

Williams chief James Vowles declared that the former Red Bull leader had not contacted them.

"We're content with the setup we have and it's effective," the team principal said. "I see no justification to alter this."

Historical Information

Horner is eligible to rejoin grand prix racing by the middle of next year after completing a separation agreement with the energy drink company on 22 September.

The fifty-one-year-old was dismissed as Red Bull team principal after the Silverstone race in summer.

Multiple sources at the racing team have suggested the settlement package was worth €60 million (52 million pounds).
